As we reflect back on the 2018 hamper season, we are filled with so much graitude towards everyone in our community who supported us in both big and small ways. To everyone who donated toys, food or money, or who donated their time to help pack or distibute hampers, we want to extend a huge THANK YOU!

This year we were able to pack and distribute 400 hampers to individuals and families within the Cloverdale community. This year, we also extended our boundaries to encompass seniors within the South Surrey, north Surrey, and Langley communities. This is a record number of hampers for our program!

We really saw the generousity of our community when we put out the call that we were short on some of our staple food items - ketchup, mayonaise, rice, pancake mix etc. The community responded in a big was as hundreds of these items flooded in just in time for us to finish packing hampers!

One of our favorite moments on hamper distribution day was when one of our hamper recipients was able to find a pair of shoes that fit him from our free store. Up until that moment, he had been wearing a pair of shoes several sizes too small and the gratitude and joy on his face was visible.

This program is truly a community effort and we couldn't do any of this without the support of the schools, businesses, churches and individuals in our community. Thank you again, and we are looking foward to partnering with you again in the 2019 season!
